Music and Special Needs Teacher

Impact Teachers are recruiting for a passionate and motivated Music and Special Needs teacher who is able teach KS3 to KS4 for a full time position in Ealing, London.

This role requires a Secondary Music and SEN teacher for an asap start. You will be working within a beautiful Independent Special Needs School. The ideal candidate must also have the vision, energy and drive to work with young people who have SEN needs to include SEMH and ASD, raise awareness of their achievements and contribute to general school life. As a professional you will be required to cover all duties expected of a teacher.

Key Responsibilities of the job include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum with the ability to differentiate to SEN students
  • Liaising with the staff team to develop programs of learning
  • Assessing and reviewing student development.
  • Utilising modern technology in the classroom (e.g. SMARTBoard, MS Office package) is an advantage.
