Special Needs and Citizenship Teacher

Impact Teachers are recruiting for a passionate and motivated Citizenship and Special Needs teacher who is able teach KS3 to KS4 for a full time positon in Wandsworth, London.

This role requires a Secondary teacher for an asap start. The ideal candidate must also have the vision, energy and drive to work with young people who have SEN needs to include SEMH and ASD, raise awareness of their achievements and contribute to general school life. As a professional you will be required to cover all duties expected of a teacher.

Key Responsibilities of the job include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons across the curriculum with the ability to differentiate to SEN students
  • Liaising with the staff team to develop programs of learning
  • Assessing and reviewing student development.
  • Utilizing modern technology in the classroom (e.g. SMARTBoard, MS Office package) is an advantage.

This school caters for pupils who have statements of special educational needs as a result of their emotional, social and behavioural difficulties. The school is part o a trust of schools and has a support senior leadership in place.
