Teach in London What we do

Teach in the UK and help training local teachers for sustainable education. Watch video.

We recruit with purpose to improve education. You can be actively involved in our own charity!

Our main focus is on supporting children's educational attainment in developing countries through providing professional development training to local teachers. We equip local teachers with the necessary teaching skills; thus, their impact and influence on the community's educational level will be sustainable.

Building sustainable education

We are a non-profit, UK registered charity and we are taking a new twist on making a difference through education. In addition to providing teacher training sessions, Impact Teachers supports projects which link directly to education and for which we can see tangible results. When performing these projects, all supplies and materials are sourced locally. Wherever our projects are taking place, it is our philosophy to work with the whole community, whilst building positive relationships in the UK and abroad. We are able to continually adapt our support to work with the local communities’ needs because the charity is our own.

The picture above is an example of an accommodation we built for teachers in Uganda. Many of our teachers give up their term breaks to travel with our charity to provide teacher development training and mentoring to the teachers of the local schools we work with. Further, it is not just our teachers getting involved. We have brought Head Teachers and engineers along as well.

Every child has the right to a quality education. We are committed to improving education around the world. Together we can make a difference.

"Today was our first day at one of our primary schools where we started working in October. It is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the local home where we are staying, and it is a bumpy, dusty ride. As a result of the long daily journey, we occasionally need to stop for petrol. This morning we stopped and as we pulled up to the pump, we were advised that they had just run out. So, on to the next station where we managed to put 1 litre of petrol in the car before the electricity went out. I was hoping that 1 litre would be enough to get us to the school as I really was not in the mood to push the van down the hot dusty roads."  Go to blog
